Answer to the Picture

Given a toy to a kid, new experiments will be done on it….

like that I had that night in my hand,

a camera and a wish to experiment something with it…..

My Journey started with-

Camera – to take pictures…of course I cannot cook using it…..

Clicked Object – anything which is beautiful or else something my cam could make striking and good looking.

Search for object – for sure there was nothing interesting inside home…so stepped out…(every nature lover would do that) . Sad part my experiment started at night…moreover no hi-tech cam…just the will to research … and there I found an object…that body was good ….. but clicking that would not have been interesting…infact trying something else would have been fun and amusing…tried capturing it in different modes but nothing paid me….

But try try try until you cry - one mode helped me out of several modes….but again not up to my expectations. Had to put in more thoughts…and I decided to move my camera in a circular motion…..and there was this image which I think was different and could make many brains scratch their head….(I think it made you all do that)…..

I am glad to get so many varied answers .. and glad that three of them have answered it correctly…..and they deserve an applause…Good Boys…

Names are – Harshad, Abhay and Nipun(the late comer)……..nice guess men…

In this course of getting answers, I got to know that people are very much aware of photography…(may be they are professionals or they are interested in such field)…and also got acquainted with the term of light painting. Thanks to Kshitij for that….it must be interesting doing the same….

Many bloggers found it to be a led bulb, but it’s not that too .. its not a neon light, not a cracker, nt an ulta ‘e’and not even a fluorescent toy…….

It is a thing which doesn’t have light of it's own but gets light from the another…..if you enlarge the pic you would also see one more pic to its left…a thin curved line … I have not used any special camera, no telephoto lens(I haven’t seen that too) and no flash is used here.

The object is a Moon and another one is star.

The only thing I did was, focusing the moving camera on the object keeping the night mode on (isn’t it sounding too easy) try this yourself. The thin line is of a star which was next to the moon

Few more pictures of it I am uploading here.

Below is the picture of moon with its original shape...and to the left is small star...:)

PS – I got very high level answers from those who are into the field of photography. Guys this post was just posted for fun and a wish to share the pic of an uncommon shape of a moon with you all. It was not a test or so……

PPS – thanks to everyone for guessing

Tag!!!

TAG time............This Tag was passed on to me by Raj & Tavish....Me required to list seven things about me which I think or may be in real, my fellow readers don't know about me...
Its very hard for me to think about the list of the unknowns to all you guys….as I m not in the state of writing these days…call it any BLOCK….but still I would like to come out of this net and will try to list out seven things regarding me…

1) I am a mixed creature….neither shy nor extrovert…..first meeting- I will be less talkative…..few more, you can find me over extrovert…I have an adaptable nature…can find myself comfortable in every situation…I show my emotions to very close ones…rest can find me cold….I don’t regard any situation to be tough…I have a cool mind…but I get upset when others get depressed…

2) I love to find beauty in nature…children….talks…deeds…In my child hood days…I used to sing songs in the garden…and those songs used to be of my own imagination….using the words like ‘titli, akash, phool, etc…..

3) I still have that singing attitude in me….I am not a singer….but I love to sing….but while writing this one question popped in my mind…that I sing everywhere except bathroom…..believe me I am a bathroom singer…..but I have never tried my talent there….hmm will think on that…

4) I am a thinker….my sir used to say ..Rohini ..you have beautiful imagination…I don’t know what they meant still…..but yes I have a thinking mind…always finding a topic to think on…...if I am at the right place, I can be creative..,,,,otherwise dull…..I don’t like pressure….A free position I always aim for.

5) I love traveling…..I am always ready to hop at any corner of the world…I get too excited even with a single thought of outing comes in anyone’s mind….My minds starts making plans ..like dress, food, shopping and many more…and yes I like staying in the company...but for atleast one hour od privacy I need....

6)I love taking pictures…..If I have camera in my hand …I take any sort of pics…..even with the Mobile…and my husband (bechara) keeps on deleting the objectionable/uninteresting pics…but hey I don’t click bad ones…though not the professional one.

7) My hands always work….if I get anything in my hand…that thing is definitely in trouble/it has to be kept in motion.…during school days……while listening the lecture ….I used to write my name or draw pictures with pen/pencil ..…if I would catch eraser…..then I used to grind it or bend till the end..….I too have the habit of rolling the paper with my fingers all the time…though with time these things have reduced…

Hmm…over with the seven things…..Guys let me tell you…I was very unsure, on the tag…the prob was I had done something like this before too......there I had mentioned many points…so I had to bring out more from within….which shouldn’t have had matched at all with the previous ones…For this tag I asked few of my close ones…let me tell you what they felt….

Mother – Always ready to help, nice at heart, good imagination, easy go getter, stubborn, no tit for tat attitude, doesn’t like interference of any sort in my activities….

Father – maintaining PR, always communicate with the people, does what she want to…....although takes advices from others…

Brother – (now this is interesting) Over emotional, have extra sense but no common sense J , cant stand violence..but is violent (thnx Bro for showing my dark face..)

Husband – he say…I m simple and subtle….and yes nautanki tooo….its contradictory too…but as the first point says… ..I am a mixture…Bhel puri …khatii mithi…

Ufff….I have listed many points…not abiding with the fact that I had to mention only seven…whatever came in mind…...just listed….the tag helped me to know more of myself…..thnx to both, Tavish and Raj…for telling others, one requires to know about it…self scrutiny….

Now the main part...I pass this Tag to Jack Sir, BS, Nu, Nipun, Gaurav & Karan
Complete the tag when feel like....

ANSWER - IS this A Man's World?

Few days before I asked you all a question, “Is this a Man’s world?”

The question comes to me many times.

Basanti, my maid, married a man of her choice, but soon her husband left her for another woman, cheat fully acquiring her property and transferring it to the other lady. Basanti was left alone; she was neither accepted by her family nor by her in-laws. And the real man behind this all, was having fun, with the new woman and the property. Society dint wish to raise any questions against him. But definitely looked at our maid with dubious, and hateful eyes……………This is my first question……Y is a woman treated like this, when her husband leaves her?

There are three girls living in my neighborhood. One of them got married few months before. All the sisters have pleasing personalities, having knowledge in every household activity, in stitching, knitting, etc (all those basic girly things. which are commonly asked at the time of marriage). I have invited them many times at my home, but they never turn up. They say they are afraid of their brother. He doesn’t like his sisters to step out of home. I m not blaming the brother, but I question the mentality. Whether he is afraid of the outside world? Or he just wants to make a point that he, as a man should be always asked before any move of his family members.

I am not planning a second baby right now, but if by chance it happens I wish to have a girl…don’t assume I have a boy so I am saying this…but yes by my all will, I would like to have a girl…… There are many friends of mine who are doing various therapies to have a male child…. They follow Chinese calendar, follow diet chart… follow some kinda Guruji who give them the various kind of dates on which they should plan…and what not….The only purpose is to have a boy. All my friends come from educated, well to do family but crave for a male member still remains in the society. The elder’s pressure is the most common factor. The reason being just one….. ‘Vansh ka naam’ …who will continue their name after their death?? Is it a good reason?…I doubt…but I know the result of this…..Female infanticide!!! Shameful……….

Society-people-are no less than a Ravan for girls these days. If a girl comes late in the home they all worry; they say it’s not good for a girl to stay out at odd times. If we see the other side of the coin, the society must understand that rather than restricting a girl they should create such environment and such space that a girl should roam freely. A boy must be imparted education on this. If a woman is supposed to take care of home, then a man should be held responsible outside home. A girl should feel safe when she moves out. But the opposite happens, people restrict her and again the vicious circle of unsafe world exists. Isn’t it??

Few days before I saw an Ad on TV where a girl comes for an interview in an office, and the man sitting, gets up and walks out of the office….the punch line says- ‘life ka har signal pakdo’…..What does this mean? Can’t a girl get the job on her strengths?….Y should we always believe that she is only credited on her looks…..? ? Is it not underestimating her capabilities? Or else compelling her to go beyond the ethics? Y?

Even if we make our heart believe that it’s a world of equality….the truth remains the same……. And truth is bitter…………….

PS - Guys – But it will not be the same forever………………..

Blog - A Social Networking Site ??

Is Blogger a site where you jot down your thoughts, experiences, judgments, conclusions, and various other things? Or, it is more of a Social Networking Site?

I joined this Blog site because I liked the thought of spilling my thoughts over net…to unlock my mind, to find creativity, to think on something, to analyze, and to write my own answers to the emerged questions on any damn topic. Before coming in to this line, I read many beautiful posts, poetries, saw amazing camera shot pictures, art, etc….I found it really addictive, and felt that I should also start writing or atleast try to write. Not coz I love writing, but because I wanted to run my mind on certain things which I found interesting. My mind was getting stuck at the daily home routine. There was no creativity, no imagination, no thinking process involved in my set activities.

I felt the NEED of change. I was guided by my fellow blogger Nu and then in Dec, 2009 I started feeling the change. From then I have started noticing things more minutely than before. In mind there is now always something running. Need not necessarily be an important topic or may be nothing useful…but I write what I feel like…. Simple…

Blog GAVE me; pleasure, sense of satisfaction, crave of creativeness, probing for the logic, liberty of thoughts, media through which I can pay gratitude, sometimes criticize, and sometimes confess.

I am HAPPY, writing post every week.

But then the QUESTION arises, whether with the time the importance of writing a post gets a back seat and move towards making a social network…creating friends….desire of having a long list of followers???? Every morning logging in to see the current state of the Blog…then matching with the expectations…sometimes writing a post of other’s taste rather than selves…Just to make desirable to others….I have read few blogs, where they write that they don’t know the reason of their writing….few say, they don’t have followers then what’s the use of blogging? Some seam to cheat…some seem to be just pass their time….and some writing the real senti, romantic stories,, which sometimes make me feel …all is made up…

My QUESTION, Are we really Honest in writing the post?? Do we fake sometime?? Does our motive of writing changes, which was initially, purely the satisfaction of our soul?

Karm kiye ja, Fal ki chinta mat kar ye insaan………this famous teaching in Bhagwat Gita…do we really follow it??? Before and after we always imagine of the results and returns in any form….don’t we?

In the case of Blogging too…one feels of recognition, one feels to share and spread one thoughts…..so on………..what’s your take on this? Has your writing been effected, and how? Do you think you are original? Do you feel to make any more changes??...do spill your thoughts…...Be honest/////////////////

Explaining the Unexplained

This is in relation with my previous post….”Life is simple, not easy”

Thanks to Anuj, Tavish, Anoop, Jack, Sameera, The Survivor for your valuable analysis….I totally agree with all your points… But I wanted examples also ….. So here I am trying to think and simplify the topic with laying few examples…

We have a life…which is quite defined…simple …straight…We do our daily activities with great pleasure…..SIMPLE isn’t it? But when something new happens or if we are required to walk on a new path, we tend to fumble, think and tend to complicate things.
Suppose, (I am trying to lay few common examples which I have/had faced in my life):

a) Waking up early in the morning is simple but not easy…. before marriage I had to get up at 4.00 am in the morning ….my mummy and alarm used to wake me up…the process was quite simple but for me to open my eyes was not easy. It was tough…I had to motivate myself…thinking ki beta koi nahi bus mein so jana(never mind, sleep in the bus) which used to take 1hr to my office….though this 1 hr was also not enough for me....but this wasn’t less than a boost also……

b) Finding a partner as I mentioned in my earlier post…..it looks very simple but is not so easy dear….why so?? You check it in my post….

c) Lying – Lying for some can be easy….but for me its only simple….I can think lots of excuses but while execution - I fail in it…..

d) Taking out time for my school/college/work friends: wishing to call and being in contact with them is very simple to think but in practical not easy…

e) Sometimes our traditions, our customs, our mind set, or our society puts certain parameters and boundaries due to which our area of working or acting gets limited creating a complex situation and hardening the life.

f) Students appearing in Entrance Exam. For them the paper might be easy but at the time of announcement of the results they may find that what they thought was simple but getting their names in the selected list is not that easy.

g) Building a school (in may case) if having all the capital and resources, its quite simple, considering all the requirements….but running it, is not easy.

h) Loving someone is simple as it doesn’t require any detailed rules and regulations, but finding the true love is not easy.

i) Thinking ourselves as the superman/woman is simple but living like that is not easy.

j) Writing down the plans is quite simple but in practical we can face some difficulties….hence .not easy.

k) Giving birth to a child is much simpler than raising a child….its not easy…mind it…

l) Sometimes a person may be found simple....but understanding that person may not be that easy...

We always run behind the things which we want but are never satisfied and are never happy with what we have. With our numerous demands and high ambitions we complicate the things which would have been much simpler otherwise….Never mind…THAT’S LIFE …as we say…..
