Question?

Questions do come in my mind usually.............this time again...I pass on this question to you all...a very simple question.

Yesterday it popped up in my mind and I got confused...coz till now what I had learnt and yesterday what I experienced was quite different ----

The word "Sanskaar" came to my mind.....I ask you all -

1. What is meant by the above word?

2. How many features does it comprises?

3. Which is the most significant point in it?

4. Any missing point - does it mean Non - Sanskari? or else who can be called that?

If you want to state any of the live examples...kindly do that..it would be helpful for me to understand it more..

hope to get nice answers on it .....so start scratching your head and provide some understandable answers :)

What It Took To Be An Anarkali...??

Theme Party : Salim - Anarkali Date : 15 April 2010

I got an invitation few days before on a theme party. I had to dress up like Anarkali, and my husband had to be Salim….listening this, I was quite confused as I had never attended any such party before…but liked the concept…
Today I will list all the necessities of Anarkali......What took me to be an Anarkali…?...

Can you tell whom we think when the word Anarakali is called? Madhubala…right? We think of her dress, her accessories, her style, her dance, and the famous song….Jab Pyaar kiya toh darna kya….

=The first thing I selected was an Anarkali dress, which I had in my wardrobe. But there was still a long way to look like her.

=Next was choosing my Salim’s outfit….It was not that tough though. I finalized his Sherwani and dupatta… which he agreed on wearing….

=What more needed?…….I looked at myself…My nails were without colour....To tell you all, I hardly use nail paint…coz of which all the colours I had bought 4yrs ago during my marriage, got dried. So had to borrow it from MIL. But the colours she had, were not of my taste. All were too dark. But I tried to settle with the maroon colour (no choice). Applied it on my nails. That night when I went to chemist, I noticed that everyone was staring at my dark coloured nails…I was so embarrassed that immediately I bought a light one and made up my nails with that.

= As I changed my dress, I thought of wearing chunni over my head….pierced it with pins unheartedly….(sry dear chunni)

= My forehead was bare, so thought of putting ‘Maang Tika’….. But I dint have it, so I made it through my necklace……My ankels were done by the beautiful anklets… Wore antique bangels..

= The missing factor was ‘Jutis’… I dint have the matching Jutis…so had to wear sandals only

In all this process, one question came in my mind. While going out I always take one napkin for Neil… looking at the cotton napkin…. thought Were in those days, napkins were made of Resham (silk)?

Now the Anarkali was so much inside me that while entering in the party also, instead of waving Hi…I did Adab to everyone…..for the whole party we addressed each one with Anarkali’s and Salim’s name…had fun dacing on the song of Mughal-e-Azam..

At the end we got the gift of the best dressed couple.....my mehnat paid off.....

I felt like I was in that old era and trust me …For the period of 2-3 hrs we enjoyed being Salim and Anarkali...........................Dress changes one’s attitude…I realized it that day…....…

Blog - A Social Networking Site ??

Is Blogger a site where you jot down your thoughts, experiences, judgments, conclusions, and various other things? Or, it is more of a Social Networking Site?

I joined this Blog site because I liked the thought of spilling my thoughts over net…to unlock my mind, to find creativity, to think on something, to analyze, and to write my own answers to the emerged questions on any damn topic. Before coming in to this line, I read many beautiful posts, poetries, saw amazing camera shot pictures, art, etc….I found it really addictive, and felt that I should also start writing or atleast try to write. Not coz I love writing, but because I wanted to run my mind on certain things which I found interesting. My mind was getting stuck at the daily home routine. There was no creativity, no imagination, no thinking process involved in my set activities.

I felt the NEED of change. I was guided by my fellow blogger Nu and then in Dec, 2009 I started feeling the change. From then I have started noticing things more minutely than before. In mind there is now always something running. Need not necessarily be an important topic or may be nothing useful…but I write what I feel like…. Simple…

Blog GAVE me; pleasure, sense of satisfaction, crave of creativeness, probing for the logic, liberty of thoughts, media through which I can pay gratitude, sometimes criticize, and sometimes confess.

I am HAPPY, writing post every week.

But then the QUESTION arises, whether with the time the importance of writing a post gets a back seat and move towards making a social network…creating friends….desire of having a long list of followers???? Every morning logging in to see the current state of the Blog…then matching with the expectations…sometimes writing a post of other’s taste rather than selves…Just to make desirable to others….I have read few blogs, where they write that they don’t know the reason of their writing….few say, they don’t have followers then what’s the use of blogging? Some seam to cheat…some seem to be just pass their time….and some writing the real senti, romantic stories,, which sometimes make me feel …all is made up…

My QUESTION, Are we really Honest in writing the post?? Do we fake sometime?? Does our motive of writing changes, which was initially, purely the satisfaction of our soul?

Karm kiye ja, Fal ki chinta mat kar ye insaan………this famous teaching in Bhagwat Gita…do we really follow it??? Before and after we always imagine of the results and returns in any form….don’t we?

In the case of Blogging too…one feels of recognition, one feels to share and spread one thoughts…..so on………..what’s your take on this? Has your writing been effected, and how? Do you think you are original? Do you feel to make any more changes??...do spill your thoughts…...Be honest/////////////////
